✨ From Overwhelmed to Empowered: How RTT Helped My Client Rise Above Anxiety 🌿+ 5 Practical Anxiety Tips You Can Start Using Today
One of the greatest privileges in my work is witnessing real, lasting change in my clients—and recently, I received a message that touched my heart:
“Fantastic RTT sessions to help with my confidence and anxiety. Halima is such a genuine, wonderful and lovely person. She really cares and would recommend her to anyone x I'm already feeling able to cope better with life and the personal recordings are brilliant. I listen to it daily and know things will just keep getting better.”
Moments like this remind me why I do what I do. 💛
As a therapist trained in Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), I work with people who are tired of feeling stuck in loops of fear, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. And often, the first thing they say is:"I don’t want to feel this way anymore."
🧠 Understanding Anxiety: It’s Not “All in Your Head”
Anxiety isn’t just a mindset—it’s a survival response. When it becomes chronic, it starts to hijack your body, thoughts, sleep, and even your sense of identity.
Most clients come to me believing they are anxious people. But here’s the truth: You are not your anxiety.Your anxiety is a pattern—one that was learned, and one that can be unlearned.
🌟 How RTT Helped This Client
In this case, we used RTT to gently access the subconscious mind—the place where those anxious patterns were first formed. RTT allows us to:
Pinpoint the root cause of anxiety (often buried in childhood or early life experiences)
Reframe old beliefs like “I’m not safe,” or “I’m not good enough”
Introduce new, empowering beliefs that promote calm, confidence, and control
Reinforce those beliefs through a custom audio recording, which my client listened to daily
And as my client shared in her testimonial, things are already getting better. She's not just coping—she's healing.
🛠️ 5 Simple Anxiety Tips You Can Start Using Today
While RTT is incredibly effective at addressing the root of anxiety, here are some simple tools you can use right now to support your nervous system:
1. Box Breathing (4-4-4-4)
Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold again for 4. Do this for a few minutes to calm your fight-or-flight response.
2. Grounding with the 5-4-3-2-1 Method
Notice:
5 things you can see 👀
4 things you can touch ✋
3 things you can hear 👂
2 things you can smell 👃
1 thing you can taste 👅
This brings you back to the present moment quickly.
3. Limit Your 'What If' Thinking
Catch yourself when you spiral into “what if” thoughts. Try replacing them with “What if it all works out?” or “What if I can handle this?”
4. Daily Mind Nourishment
Even if you're not in therapy yet, try listening to calming, empowering audios (like meditations or affirmations). If you do RTT with me, your personalized audio becomes your daily anchor. 🎧
5. Name It to Tame It
Say out loud: “I’m noticing I feel anxious right now, and that’s okay.”This signals your brain that you are safe, and the feeling is manageable.
