The Blues

Lately, I've been experiencing a bit of a low mood. I believe the combination of the weather and the post-Christmas blues has been affecting me. Yesterday, the weather was fantastic, so I chose to go for a walk and decided to visit Clevedon in Somerset, a lovely coastal town. Wandering around in the sunshine by the sea significantly lifted my spirits, and feeling the sun on my face felt wonderful.

Today is Blue Monday, coined as the "most depressing day of the year," and falls on the third Monday of January. It combines post-holiday blues, financial strain, and the struggle with New Year's resolutions.
